Why support the VICO?

Your contribution (whether financial or in kind) will help the VICO to offer varied and innovative programming on a year-round basis: full-scale concerts, educational programs, professional development workshops for musicians and composers, and much more. With your support, we will  continue to provide the concert-going public with access to this truly unique orchestra, an ensemble whose work is not being duplicated anywhere in the world today! There are several possible ways to help:

In addition to individual donations, we depend on the support of local businesses, venues and other organizations to make our programs happen. To learn more about the benefits of becoming a partner in the VICO adventure please e-mail info@vi-co.org

4. Volunteer with the VICO

The following are some of the areas in which we welcome volunteer assistance:

Concert Production:

– Front of house (helping to sell tickets at the door before concerts, ushering)
– Artist services (arranging hospitality for musicians; transportation)
– Logistical/production assistance during rehearsals and performances
–  Event publicity

Administration & Outreach:

– Text translation (media releases, website copy, etc.)
– Marketing assistance & community outreach
– Fundraising/development assistance

If the “big picture” stuff interests you – governance, strategic planning, project management, etc. – you might consider applying to become a member of our Board of Directors.

Please contact us if you would like to know more. Thank you for your interest in the VICO!

For your convenience the VICO accepts donations through CanadaHelps.org. A charitable donation receipt will be generated automatically and emailed to you!
