What does the word “intercultural” really mean? VICO musicians and composers come from widely differing backgrounds. We have different frameworks for thinking about music. We often speak different languages — both literally and artistically. How do we work together to weave these separate threads into a new and brilliant sonic tapestry? Join us as we share a behind-the-scenes look at creating and performing intercultural music.

Did we mention it’s FREE? We hope to see you there!

“Music of the Whole World” is the VICO’s annual FREE series of public educational events. These informal presentations (each featuring 3-4 musicians) are guaranteed to broaden your musical horizons!
