The VICO Tentet will be travelling to Taiwan and South Korea this April, to perform with conductor Chih-Sheng Chen and members of Little Giant Chinese Chamber Orchestra at two prestigious events: Tongyeong International Music Festival (TIMF) and Taiwan Traditional Arts Festival (TTAF) in Taipei.
This tour marks the VICO’s debut performances in Asia, and we are proud to be showcasing a programme jam-packed with Canadian composers, including Rita Ueda, Farshid Samandari, Moshe Denburg, Jin Zhang, and Lan Tung. Also on the bill: world premieres of new works by Cathy Kuo and Saeed Mirzazadeh, and a new orchestration of Asrar by Ali Razmi.
